The following pictures (taken June 5, 2004) depict the horrible
conditions the dogs and cats at the Asprophygros Animal Shelter (Athens) are subjected to until they literally die from
disease and neglect!
These pictures demand that officials act immediately and enforce Law 3710 - but
to date little, if anything, is being done to help these poor animals.
How can those in a position to do something about it, turn a blind eye to such
cruel and inhumane treatment of innocent animals?!
These pictures are just a small example why we must continue our fight and speak
for those who cannot speak for themselves!
